SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man was arrested on suspicion of a deadly shooting in Sacramento County last Sunday.
The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said Friday the man was arrested earlier this week in the Arden-Arcade area.
Deputies responded to reports of a shooting around 12:20 a.m. Sunday, June 9 in the 1300 block of Fulton Avenue by Hurley Way.
The sheriff's office said deputies found a man with a gunshot wound in a shopping center parking lot. The man was taken to a hospital and died. The Sacramento County Coroner's Office identified the man as 38-year-old James Roseman from Sacramento.
Joseph Demarco, 47, was arrested and booked at the Sacramento County Main Jail. He's scheduled to appear in court on June 20.
