STOCKTON, Calif. — Three people were arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in Stockton earlier in June.
The Stockton Police Department said in an update Wednesday three arrests were made throughout the month in connection with a deadly June 6 shooting.
Just before midnight on June 6, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1000 block of West Charter Way.
The Stockton Police Department said it was an armed robbery where suspects confronted two men in a parking lot and demanded their belongings. One of the men, a 45-year-old, refused and was shot. He was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries. ABC10 has reached out to the San Joaquin County Coroner for the man's identity.
The second man, a 28-year-old, wasn't injured.
On June 11, officers arrested Herbert Comeaux. The 50-year-old was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on suspicion of homicide.
On June 12, officers arrested Karlotta Rasberry. The 39-year-old was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on suspicion of homicide and other charges.
On June 23, a 17-year-old was taken into custody by Antioch Police. He was booked into Juvenile Hall on suspicion of homicide and other charges. Because he's a minor, his name and photo haven't been released.
The shooting is still under investigation.
