STOCKTON, Calif. — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a car on the Northbound Lane of B Street Sunday evening in Stockton.
The crash was reported around 5:45 p.m. CHP said the man was walking near the northbound Lane of B Street when - for an unknown reason - he entered the lane and into the path of a Toyota hatchback sedan that hit him.
CHP said the man was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Officers say it was dark outside at that time and the man was wearing dark clothing.
