Folsom High School beats Whitney High School Football in rout | Final

The Bulldogs are ranked No. 12 in California and No. 42 nationally. Folsom has not lost in league play this season.

ROCKLIN, Calif. — The Folsom High Bulldogs routed the Whitney Wildcats 69-7 on Friday night. 

The win improves Folsom to 7-1 overall and 5-0 in the Sierra Foothill League. Whitney drops to 2-6 overall  and 2-3 in league play.

Folsom High School will travel to Whitney Wildcats at 7 p.m. 

The Bulldogs are ranked No. 12 in California and No. 42 nationally, due to their weaker schedule compared to other schools that are ranked higher. Last week, they were ranked No. 11 in California.

Going into week 9, the Bulldogs are 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the Sierra Foothill League. 

Whitney is in 5th place and is 2-5 overall looking for a win in tonight's game. 

The Wildcats took on Granite Bay High School last week and lost 49-10 to the Grizzlies. 

The Bulldogs finished last week sailing by Del Oro High School defeating the Golden Eagles 58-0.

The Bulldogs are not slowing down anytime soon as they start Friday Night Lights on the Wildcats turf tonight.
